The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Name, job title, company, work e-mail address, business address phone number, main asset types financed, company type and dietary requirements of potential attendees to our conferences.

• The name, job titles, company, work e-mail address, dietary requirements, business address and phone number of potential sponsors.

• The name, job titles work e-mail address and phone number of organisations supporting client sponsors.

• We may on occasion run surveys and would collect responses and respondent information, which may or may not be anonymised.

• We may utilise audience questions generated during our live or virtual events for post event reporting or analysis.

• We may take photos and videos at our events for promotional purposes that may contain images of attendees and sponsors.


How we get the personal information and why we have it


Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• Registering to attend any event in any capacity

• Accessing premium content

• Subscribing to updates, newsletters or any other content that we may produce

We may also collect this data from third party partners and public sources to the extent permitted by applicable data protection law.

We use this information to invite you to attend our events and then communicate with you to facilitate the running of an event you are attending with us.

To run surveys, collect responses, respondent information, and provide feedback about events you have attended.

To tell you that we have published information which may be of interest to you on our website.

We use photos and videos taken at events for the purpose of promoting future events.

We may also share your details, as described in the type of information section above, with our clients. Our clients may use this data to contact you to market their products or services. You have the right to opt out of these marketing communications at any time. If you are a client we rely on the lawful basis of contract when dealing with the personal data of you and your employees.

We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis for processing this information. However, we will also ask you to consent to this privacy policy when you sign up to attend any event, subscribe to any products or access premium content.


How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

Your information is securely stored in our corporate cloud storage and corporate e-mail platform which uses multi factor authentication and password protection and both have numerous physical and virtual security safeguards.

We keep personal details including but not limited to name, job title, company, email, phone number and address for the duration of our legitimate business activities. We regularly clean the data and keep a record of anyone who has opted out of communication so that we do not contact them again. We keep a record of those who have been non-responsive to outreach for five years and then delete their data.
