The theme for the Finance Connect Summer Awards 2026 runs right to the heart of what our industry is all about.

The Spark.

Finance Connect was built on the idea: that connecting people creates energy. That the right conversation, at the right moment, with the right person, can change the direction of a business — or a career. That serendipitous interaction which sparks innovation.

On the evening of 7 July, we're bringing the entire industry together to celebrate that idea. To recognise the organisations, teams and individuals who have lit up our sector — and to spark new connections that will carry the industry forward.

Dress Code: Bright & Bold

Leave the black tie at home. The Spark is a celebration, and we want the room to look the part.

Come in colour. Come in something that makes you feel brilliant. Whether that's a bold print, a vibrant blazer, a sequinned dress or simply your sharpest suit in your favourite shade — tonight is the night to bring your spark.

Think: confident, colourful, celebratory. There are no rules — just come looking like you mean it.

What to Expect

The evening begins with a Sparkling Wine and Pimm's reception in the summer garden of the HAC — one of London's most extraordinary hidden venues — where the funfair will be in full swing. Ride the Big Wheel, take on the dodgems, or simply enjoy the warm July evening before heading inside for the awards.

The gala dinner and awards ceremony take place in the main room, with all 22 awards presented across the evening. Every winner deserves their moment — and we intend to give it to them.

After the final award, the after-party begins. The DJ takes over, the dancefloor opens, and the funfair and bar remain open until midnight.

It's going to be a night to remember.

The Evening at a Glance

6:00pm — Arrivals open. Sparkling Wine and Pimm's reception in the summer garden.

6:15pm — Funfair open: Big Wheel, Dodgems, Carousel and five side stalls.

7:15pm — Gala dinner and awards ceremony. Three courses, unlimited drinks, 22 awards.

From 10:00pm — After-party. DJ, dancefloor, bar open until midnight. Midnight — Carriages.
